About SiteCMD
I'm Kyle Piontek, and I built SiteCMD. I've been building and maintaining websites for over a decade, for everyone from small local businesses to large companies, and the same handful of problems kept coming back: a missing security header, a certificate about to expire, an accessibility issue nobody caught until someone ran into it.
For years I kept those in check with a folder of bash scripts. They ran the checks I'd learned to care about, so the things that quietly break didn't slip through between deploys.
In April 2025 I was laid off. Instead of only sending out resumes, I started turning those scripts into something I'd actually want to use every day. That became SiteCMD: one place to scan a site, see what's actually wrong, and fix it, instead of stitching together a dozen separate tools and browser tabs.
SiteCMD is a product of my company, Brambleworks. It runs the same checks every time and tells you what it finds, no guessing and no opinions. If you want to see my background, it's on LinkedIn, and if you ever need a hand with your own site, that's something Brambleworks does too.
